Research and development

Alpug is involved in ongoing projects on alpine permafrost and avalanche dynamics. Alpug delivers know-how for remote measurement and data acquisition systems and process modelling (pdf). In the avalanche dynamic related research different processes in moving avalanches are characterized and investigated. Actually AlpuG and partners are developing different systems to de- rime and de-ice different types of wind sensors.
